Elana Thomas, MSW, SWC

Elana is an empathetic and compassionate therapist who has a passion for helping youth and their families thrive. Elana is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and in Flash Techniques. She uses play-based and art driven approaches to engage children and youth. Elana has over 8 years of experience working in various mental health settings including crisis, residential and medication services, as well as working in schools and outpatient settings. Elana finds it is important to integrate the family and school system into her client's treatment to help ensure that they benefit from the most comprehensive support available.  

Elana graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a master’s degree in social work. When Elana is out of the office, she enjoys spending time with her amazing and energetic son and husband. They enjoy hiking, playing games, gardening, listening to music and spending time with their numerous pets. Aside from spending time with her family, Elana enjoys cooking foods from around the world and indulging in spicy cuisine.  

This therapist conducts sessions exclusively in English.
