Elvira was born in Chihuahua, Mexico, and is proud to be a first-generation immigrant in the United States. Recognizing the significant need for bilingual therapists in her community, she was driven to become a therapist to provide essential support to those in need, regardless of their background. With 14 years of experience working with children in schools, Elvira is committed to breaking down the stigma surrounding mental health and offering a safe, welcoming space for all clients. She has an MA in school counseling from Adams State and is trained in EMDR.
Passionate about the outdoors and traveling, Elvira embraces a lifestyle that defies traditional expectations while staying deeply connected to her roots. As a bilingual (Spanish-speaking) therapist, she is dedicated to serving her community and all immigrants, helping them navigate their unique challenges, validating their experiences, and guiding them on their path to healing.
