Neurofeedback is a non-invasive technique that trains the brain to self-regulate. Improving the brains self-regulation helps individuals cognitive, emotional and behavioral well being. Neurofeedback helps with ADHD, ASD, twice exceptional, depression, anxiety, trauma, stress, sleep and more.
What does the process look like?
1. It starts with a 15 min consultation to make sure you are a good fit for neurofeedback.
2. Intake and brain map/QEEG is completed. This includes an EEG scanners are used to measure brainwave activity. The process is non-invasive as a cap is fitted to the head and brainwaves are read for activity in different parts of the brain. (nothing is done to the brain the brainwaves are only read)
3. The brain map helps us to identify what parts of the brain could benefit from neurofeedback training.
4. The Neurofeedback sessions are 45 minutes each and are done at least twice weekly.
5. In these sessions, your brain is trained with an interactive games/videos that reduces symptoms. (nothing is done to the brian the system only reads brainwaves).
6.Typically 30-40 sessions are needed to see lasting improvements. Rates:We accept Medicaid (CCHA, Colorado Access and Rocky Mountain)
